At Four Paws Daycare, dogs are able to socialize and enjoy a fun filled day with their dog and human friends. A group environment gives your dog the mental stimulation and physical exercise they need to be happy and healthy. All dogs are under constant supervision and provided the best care by a trained team of daycare staff. Our customers can be assured that all dogs admitted into daycare have passed a temperament test to ensure the safest social environment for everyone. We group dogs in playgroup based on their behavior, age, size, gender and health.

Evaluation Day
We know you have many options when choosing a pet care facility for your loved one. At Four Paws, we work hard to create and maintain a safe environment for our guests and in order to accomplish this we require that all new customers come in for the temperament evaluation prior to daycare and boarding. Evaluations are offered during business hours Monday through Friday by appointment only.
The evaluation begins with drop off at 10am. During the day we will introduce several different types of dogs so we can understand how they interact socially in playgroup with the pack. We will also test how they do in one of our runs or crates so we can establish if they will be able to settle well and that they are comfortable with our staff handling them as we move throughout the facility and outdoor areas. Pick-up is at 3pm and we will review how the evaluation day went. The charge for the evaluation is the same as a single day daycare visit and payment is due at the time of booking.
Please Note:
- Four Paws staff goes off reception desk duty at 7:00 PM. There is a $5.00 charge for each 5-minute time period that a dog is picked up after 7:00 PM (or on Saturday and Sunday 6:00 PM). If a dog is not picked up from Daycare by 7:15 PM (or 6:15 PM on Saturday) we will be required to board your dog overnight with additional boarding/meal charges made responsible to the owner.
- Daycare packages must be paid for in full at the time of purchase and expire 6 months from the date of purchase.
- Packages are refundable within 30 days of purchase but they are non-transferable.
- We are closed Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Pick-ups or drop-offs during this time must be by appointment only.
Daycare Reservations
Reservations
Reservations are required for all services every day of the week.
All reservation requests, including modifications to standing reservations, need to be in writing and can easily be done through the online portal, via text or through email.
Please note that the request is not finalized until you receive a confirmation email or text.
Cancellations
Cancellations may be made up 24 hours prior to a scheduled reservation in order to avoid a cancellation fee.

We understand that last minute situations arise. We have a wait list daily and appreciate the opportunity to invite another dog so they can come attend in your dog’s place.
Standing Reservation
We recommend same-day (each week, every other week or monthly) Standing Reservations as dogs are routine animals and thrive when they know what to expect. This benefits each individual and the pack as they build relationships with the other dogs attending on their same day(s) and helps to create consistent positive experiences.
If you do not have a Standing Reservation, we cannot guarantee a space for your dog on the requested day. We will always try to work with you and find another day with availability.
Please note, depending on your dog’s temperament, play style and length of time attending Four Paws we may advise that a Day School day be booked instead of traditional daycare. This is solely for the safety and well-being of your dog and our other guests. Daycare can be an overwhelming experience for some and this becomes more likely if your pup is not used to the routine and pack. We will also recommend Day School for dog’s who experience anxiety, high energy or lack of boundaries (pulling on leash, not listening to recall or their name etc.)

BECOME A FOUR PAWs PUP
At this time, we are unable to accept new clients, but joining our waitlist ensures that we’ll have all your information when space becomes available. Please fill out the new client application to be added to the Waitlist.
Once a space becomes available, we will reach out to you to begin the enrollment process. The first step registration through our online client portal.
Prior to scheduling an evaluation day, we require verification of up-to-date vaccines. No dogs will be permitted into daycare or boarding until vaccination records are verified.
Required vaccinations include:
- Rabies
- Bordetella
- Distemper
- Canine Influenza
- An intestinal parasite test must be provided every six (6) months
- All dogs must be flea and tic free and in good health
- All dogs must be spayed or neutered by 7 months of age

Evaluations are offered on Monday through Friday with your dog arriving at 10 AM to Four Paws. The evaluation will conclude at 3 PM. There is a full day daycare charge due at the time of scheduling the evaluation day.
Once you’ve completed the evaluation, you can use our online booking system or email info@fourpawsdogs.com to schedule your dog's standing reservation.
